This book was my candidacy document, which was used to present my first year of research projects to the faculty and my peers at VCU.
Out of many projects, five were selected that helped paint a picture of what kind of work I wanted to pursue in my final year of the program.

Hand-cut holes featured on the front cover
The document was hand-assembled; hand-cut holes on the front, a French fold with rich black floods on the back of each spread, and Japanese-style binding with black bookbinding thread.
